Employment Type: Full-time
Are you ready to drive large-scale SAP transformation programs and influence enterprise-wide architecture decisions? Trissential is partnering with a forward-thinking client to hire a Senior IT Architect - SAP who will play a critical role in shaping the future of complex SAP ecosystems. This is more than a project role-this is your opportunity to own architecture strategy, guide modernization efforts, and make a lasting impact across a large enterprise landscape
What's in It for You?
  • Strategic Impact - Influence enterprise SAP architecture, roadmaps, and cross-platform integrations
  • High-Visibility Role - Work directly with business leaders, engineering teams, and vendors on critical initiatives
  • Innovation Focus - Lead modernization efforts including ECC to S/4HANA transitions and SAP BTP adoption
  • Career Advancement - Expand into enterprise architecture leadership and governance forums
  • Collaborative Culture - Partner with top talent across engineering, security, and business domains

Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient SAP architecture solutions aligned with business outcomes
  • Lead end-to-end technical implementations across application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security layers
  • Govern architecture standards, ensuring compliance across initiatives and managing necessary exceptions
  • Drive SAP modernization, including ECC-to-S/4HANA migration strategies and integration transformation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, infrastructure, and security) to align solutions with enterprise direction
  • Evaluate and mitigate technical, operational, and integration risks within SAP and surrounding ecosystems
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and audit requirements
  • Influence architecture roadmaps, patterns, and standards across integration, data, and platform domains
  • Partner with vendors and system integrators to ensure delivery excellence and technology alignment
  • Improve application landscape health by identifying redundancies and modernization opportunities

Skills & Experience You Should Possess
  • 8+ years of IT experience in large, complex environments
  • 8+ years of solution architecture experience across application, data, integration, and security domains
  • 6+ years of SAP architecture and delivery experience across multiple workstreams
  • Deep expertise in SAP, SAP BTP, and enterprise architecture practices
  • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise SAP solutions
  • Strong knowledge of SAP integrations (APIs, middleware, event-driven, batch/file-based integrations)
  • Experience leading architectural governance and participating in review boards
  • Ability to drive technical decisions and influence stakeholders across all levels
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-wide initiatives within large, complex, highly matrixed organizations, with the ability to navigate governance, compliance, and cross-functional stakeholder environments while driving successful outcomes across high-volume, multi-system landscapes that impact broad user populations at scale
  • Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration programs
  • Background in Energy, Utilities, or other asset-intensive industries
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, Work Management, or Asset Management domains
  • Exposure to integration modernization strategies and cloud-based SAP ecosystems

Education & Certifications You Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Relevant SAP or architecture certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
  • TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification (nice to have)

What We Offer
At Trissential, we value expertise, innovation, and collaboration. By joining our client's team, you'll have the opportunity to work on enterprise-critical systems while advancing your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment
  • Competitive Compensation - $71-$81 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
  • Comprehensive Benefits for you and your dependents - Medical, dental, vision, free tele-health, HSA with company contribution, life and disability insurance, and 401k with matching
  • Paid Time Off - Offers paid time away from work
  • Hybrid Work Model - Work onsite three days per week in Denver or Minneapolis
  • Career Development - Access to enterprise-scale projects and architecture leadership opportunities
