Trissential is hiring a Technical Product Owner – Customer Technical Products to join our client's team. This is a high-impact opportunity where you'll drive delivery across critical customer-facing data products and integration services, influencing multiple product domains while ensuring consistent execution, governance, and business value across a complex technology portfolio.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and manage cross-product roadmaps, priorities, and backlogs across Customer Technical Products domains
  • Lead end-to-end delivery activities across the Plan, Build, and Run lifecycle for data products and integration services
  • Support delivery across Customer Data Services, Meter Data Services, Billing Data Services, Payment Data Services, and technical build teams
  • Drive project and program management processes, including scope, schedule, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management
  • Coordinate delivery efforts across multiple technical teams and business functions to ensure alignment and execution consistency
  • Manage vendor relationships, including vendor evaluation, onboarding, performance measurement, and accountability tracking
  • Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and funding alignment across initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and reusable solutions
  • Provide leadership visibility through portfolio reporting, governance updates, risk assessments, and roadmap communications
  • Promote delivery excellence and governance standards across the Customer Technical Products organization

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Product Ownership, Program Management, Technical Delivery Leadership, or similar roles
  • Strong experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Proven project and program management expertise with responsibility for scope, schedule, risk, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Experience working with data platforms, APIs, integration services, or enterprise data solutions
  • Demonstrated success managing vendors within multi-vendor delivery environments
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, funding, and cost controls across multiple workstreams
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Ability to lead within matrixed organizations and influence without direct authority
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product lifecycle management

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Utility industry experience, particularly within Meter-to-Cash environments
  • Experience supporting Customer, Billing, Metering, or Payment data domains
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS, cloud-native architectures, data pipelines, and API ecosystems
  • Experience working within enterprise portfolio planning, governance, and investment management frameworks
  • Background leading large‑scale data modernization or digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience managing multiple product domains simultaneously

Education & Certifications You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Product Owner, Agile, Scrum, PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or related certifications are highly desirable
  • Equivalent combination of education and professional experience will also be considered
