Pay Range: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour

Job Overview: Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation that nearly doubled the number of treatment beds from 27 to 45. Care is now delivered in highly personalized areas that address the needs of families, seniors and behavioral patients. Also included in the project are a 128-slice CT scanner and an onsite ultrasound suite that speeds up the delivery of care and provides a more detailed diagnosis. Unlike many hospitals, Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a full-service institution. As such, we are fully-equipped and staffed to provide a complete range of services to those in need of general care, as well as specialized services, such as pediatric or obstetric care.  To learn more about our Emergency Services, click here.

We Are RWJBH Nurses: Meet ED Nurses Jazmine Gutierrez and Cheryl Meyer

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-Time, 11A-11P
  • Evening Shift
  • Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

  • Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required
  • ASN or BSN required
  • An AHA BLS prior to the start date is required.
  • Previous ER experience if preferred; previous Med Surg, Telemetry, or acute care experience is required.
  • ER Certifications and/or national nursing certifications are preferred.

Essential Functions: The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
