Summary:

A reputable mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage automation projects and HVAC controls. This individual will oversee estimating, project engineering, programming standards, manpower planning, and financial performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building automation, HVAC controls, and Tridium Niagara systems, with the leadership skills to manage teams, schedules, and client relationships from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of BAS projects including estimating, engineering, programming, and field coordination

  • Manage all project schedules, budgets, and manpower to ensure successful delivery

  • Serve as the main point of contact with internal teams, MEP coordinators, commissioning agents, and owners

  • Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth

  • Monitor project performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction

  • Ensure compliance with Title 24, ASHRAE Guideline 36, NEC, and local codes

  • Lead project closeouts and ensure continued client satisfaction post-completion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience managing BAS or HVAC controls projects

  • Skilled in Tridium Niagara 4 or similar automation platforms
