Job description

Do you want to make a difference and help guide the parents of our pediatric patients? HV Pediatrics is searching for a PT Pediatric Telephone Triage Nurse! Come join our team! Previous telephone triage experience strongly preferred but not required. Office Location: Heritage Valley Pediatrics Chippewa. Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:30pm with rotating Saturday (8:00 - 1:00pm). In a PT role, you will be scheduled approximately 16-18 hrs per week . This is an ON-SITE position.
Provides professional pediatric nursing care via telephone triage support for the pediatric practice. Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by providers. Maintains patients' medical records on observations. May assist providers during treatment and examination of patient. Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.
Required
Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred
Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing, ACLS
