About the Role:
Sullivan Hauling is looking for a skilled and dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team in New Oxford, PA. This is a great opportunity to operate heavy equipment and help keep commercial and construction projects moving. Responsibilities:
• Operate tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, stone, and asphalt to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance
• Follow designated routes and delivery schedules efficiently and on time
• Communicate with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members to coordinate loads and deliveries
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip records, and delivery documentation
• Monitor truck performance and report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Operate safely on construction sites, roadways, and off-road terrain
Requirements:
• First issued a driver's license, in any class, at least 9 years ago (insurance requirement)
• CDL first issued at least 2 years ago (insurance requirement)
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Proven experience operating tri-axle or heavy dump trucks
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to perform duties associated with hauling operations
