Dump trucks are specialized vehicles designed to transport and unload bulk materials such as sand, gravel, demolition waste, or construction debris. They feature a hydraulic lift system that raises the bed of the truck, allowing the contents to be dumped at the delivery site. There are various types of dump trucks, including standard, articulated, and transfer dump trucks, each suited for different tasks and terrains.
