This role offers an incredible opportunity to work directly with patients to help them restore mobility, enhance physical performance, and improve their quality of life. If you are motivated by making a difference in the lives of others through rehabilitation, we invite you to embark on this fulfilling journey with us.

About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd operates a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility specializing in outpatient orthopedic care. Our McAllen location encompasses a modern 5000 square feet sports medicine facility designed to provide the highest quality of care. We hold a strong commitment to patient-centered therapy and are devoted to employing evidence-based practices. Our established team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), creating a collaborative environment that fosters continued learning and shared success.

This position is onsite at our McAllen rehabilitation facility. You will be working in a supportive team-oriented environment that allows for direct interaction with patients, facilitating personalized therapy plans and interventions. The facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment, ensuring you have the tools needed to succeed in your practice. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and set achievable goals.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Administer cost-effective treatments designed to improve patient mobility, minimize discomfort, and encourage non-surgical interventions whenever possible.
  • Monitor and document patient progress effectively, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients regarding their conditions and establish empowering exercise and rehabilitation programs that promote self-management.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging physical activity aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance interdisciplinary patient care.
  • Maintain an efficient patient load of one patient per hour to ensure that each individual receives focused and quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients who have private medical insurance. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with patients of various ages and backgrounds, tailoring your treatment approaches to meet their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings.
  • Active Physical Therapist license in Texas, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
  • Exceptional manual therapy skills and the ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, as well as familiarity with sports injury rehabilitation, will be highly regarded. Candidates who stay updated with current industry trends and demonstrate a commitment to continual professional development will have a distinct advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 โ€“ 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. You will also have access to continuing education resources and workshops to further develop your clinical skills.
