Every week, Jesus is changing lives at Bent Tree. Stories of faith, hope, generosity, service, and transformation happen across our church, but many people never hear them. We're looking for a gifted storyteller who can capture those moments and share them through compelling digital content that inspires people to take their next step with Jesus.

This isn't simply a social media job. It's an opportunity to help shape how thousands of people experience Bent Tree throughout the week through authentic stories, meaningful visuals, and creative communication.

What You'll Do

• Tell stories of life change through writing, photography, and video.
• Capture worship services, ministry events, gatherings, and everyday church life.
• Interview people and turn conversations into compelling digital stories.
• Create engaging social media content from sermons and weekend experiences.
• Develop content that builds anticipation for events and ministry opportunities.
• Execute Bent Tree's communication strategy across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Threads, the Bent Tree App, and our website.
• Collaborate with the Engagement Team and Worship & Arts Team.
• Use analytics, experimentation, and AI tools to continually improve content.

• Bent Tree consistently tells authentic stories of life change.
• Our digital platforms reflect the warmth, love, and mission of our church.
• Ministries are better supported because people know what's happening and why it matters.
• You have introduced new creative ideas that increase engagement and reach.

Who We're Looking For
• A gifted storyteller more than a marketer.
• Curious about people and their stories.
• Creative but humble.
• Has the ability, ideas, implement, and complete creative projects.

• Someone who notices meaningful moments others miss.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and collaborating across teams.
• Passionate about helping people encounter Jesus through creative communication.

Qualifications

• Professional experience creating compelling digital content.
• Strong, videography, photography, editing and writing skills.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects) or other comparable software
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Active, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Bent Tree member or willing to become one as a condition of employment.
