Job Description

The Team Lead, Treasury Sales Associate is a player/coach, overseeing and performing tasks related to delivering cash management, trade, liquidity, and commercial card solutions.ย  Supporting the Treasury Management Officers (TMOs), the Team Lead helps in acquiring, expanding, managing, and maintaining Treasury relationships, and oversees a diverse portfolio requiring extensive treasury product and depository knowledge.ย  Manages a team of TSAs which includes managing the daily workflow and ensuring their training and development needs are met.ย

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will lead, coach, and develop a Treasury sales team while managing hiring, training, and performance responsibilities.
  • You will serve as the primary escalation point for complex client and sales-related issues.
  • You will equip team members with the training, tools, and resources needed to drive Treasury sales success.
  • You will ensure all team activities align with bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • You will build client relationships, identify Treasury solutions, and uncover cross-sell opportunities.
  • You will drive new business growth through consultative sales strategies, pipeline management, and revenue-focused initiatives.
  • You will provide expert Treasury Management support, oversee client implementations, and champion the overall customer experience.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge of knowledge is typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, along with 7+ years' relevant banking and Treasury Sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.ย ย ย 

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of general banking.
  • Expert cash management services knowledge and extensive knowledge of products like Online Access Service, Remote Deposit, Lockbox and ACH Systems, including pricing and billing processes.
  • Strong ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and sales opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of accounting, finance, and cash management practices.
  • Proficient in identifying and managing complex risk scenarios.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and complete critical tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to interact with and influence people at all levels, both internally and externally, through exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
