Job Description:
Treasury Analyst
Parsons is looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for a wide range of treasury activities including treasury project assignments, financial obligation monitoring, and ad hoc cash and financial reporting as required.
The ideal location for this role is Southern California, but we would consider an out-of-state candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Utilizes and optimizes the use of cash management tools to track financial obligations such as payables, letters of credit, bank guarantees, Joint Venture investments, and debt.
  • Monitors and analyzes counterparty credit risk of financial and business partners as well as credit and interest rate risk of investment portfolio.
  • Provides backup support for daily cash management.
  • Assists in periodic and ad hoc liquidity analysis and position reports.
  • Analyzes, reports, and delivers project support on foreign currency exposure and hedging strategies.
  • Provides administrative assistance for the company's trade finance portfolio including liaising between the bank and the local treasury/accounting staff.
  • Assists with project assignments, financial reporting, and financial modeling of historical and forecasted cash flows.

What Required Skills You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2+ years of accounting/finance related work experience with broad treasury experience, specifically in corporate finance and treasury operations
