Are you looking to take on a dynamic and challenging role?  OE Federal is seeking to hire a Business Account Representative I!

Your Purpose

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will expand and maintain relationships with union groups, business owners, employers and trust fund administrators by providing outstanding personalized service and responding to their account servicing needs in a prompt, efficient and accurate manner. You will play a key role in assisting with the processing of union, business, employer, and trust fund administrator requests and files.

What You'll Do

To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, occurrences of each of the following under general supervision from your manager:

  • Proactively supports and assists new and existing business and union partners by processing and balancing vacation pay, PTO pay, payroll, and union dues files.

  • Receive a moderate to high volume of incoming members, local union, employers, business owners, and trust fund support calls daily.

  • Create, maintain, and post vacation pay, PTO pay, dues, and payroll deduction files. 

  • Establish and maintain business accounts and services, including collecting and completing required documentation. Process lockbox transactions, post and reconcile business remote deposits. Scan documents received and send files to the union or administrator's office via online or courier.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues from across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally. 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union's policies and procedures and current promotions.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • High School Diploma/GED AND minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role required. Associates degree in a business-related field preferred, 1 year of work experience in a phone-based bank or credit union customer service capacity preferred.

  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Salary Range: $23.36 - $26.47/hour

OE Federal Credit Union offers competitive compensation.  The offered salary considers experience, education, training, internal peer equity, job location and other business considerations when extending an offer.  The salary outlined is based on working in Livermore, California. The salary range will adjust to the applicant's work location.
