Job Summary
The Treasury Operations Analyst supports the organization's treasury function by executing daily cash management activities, maintaining accurate treasury operations, and ensuring the efficient movement of funds throughout the business. This role is responsible for monitoring cash activity, processing treasury transactions, supporting liquidity and funding activities, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the integrity of treasury data and systems.
The position also contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and leverage technology to improve treasury operations. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Treasury Operations
โ€ข Execute daily treasury activities, including processing cash transfers, wire payments, ACH transactions, and other treasury-related transactions.
โ€ข Monitor daily cash positions and cash movements across multiple bank accounts.
โ€ข Process and reconcile treasury transactions while maintaining accurate financial records.
โ€ข Support bank account administration activities, including documentation, account maintenance, and user access as needed.
โ€ข Ensure treasury activities are completed accurately and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Cash Management & Liquidity
โ€ข Support daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasting activities.
โ€ข Assist with funding requests and cash transfers to meet operational and financing needs.
โ€ข Prepare cash position reports and monitor available liquidity.
โ€ข Support lender funding activities and other treasury-related financing transactions.
Reconciliation & Exception Management
โ€ข Perform reconciliations for treasury-related accounts and transactions.
โ€ข Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and financial institutions.
โ€ข Document exceptions and recommend improvements to reduce recurring issues.
โ€ข Maintain documentation supporting treasury transactions and audit requirements.
Treasury Systems & Process Improvement
โ€ข Maintain treasury management systems and support data integrity.
โ€ข Assist with system implementations, upgrades, testing, and ongoing enhancements.
โ€ข Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
โ€ข Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools supporting treasury operations.
Collaboration
โ€ข Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Information Technology, and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely treasury operations.
โ€ข Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end treasury activities.
โ€ข Provide documentation and information requested during internal and external audits.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Treasury Management Systems (TMS) such as Kyriba, GTreasury, SAP Treasury, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with banking platforms, wire processing, ACH transactions, and cash management tools.
  • Experience with automation, reporting, or business intelligence tools such as Power Query, Power BI, VBA, SQL, or Python.
  • Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits for Treasury Operations Analyst
Pay Range: $58,000 - $76,100
Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual's experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role .
