Overview
TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Administrative Clerk in our Madison, Wisconsin office. The Office Assistant is responsible for performing clerical support for the staff while providing excellent customer service to people both inside and outside the organization. Candidate should be able to establish priorities while meeting deadlines, be professional, have personal integrity, and have a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Word processing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including formatting/finalizing proposals, presentations, and reports.
  • General receptionist and Project Management support activities.
  • Handling mail.
  • Scanning documents.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Computer Systems/Software/Applications: Microsoft Office Products, Adobe and other similar applications, knowledgeable in basic computer operation.
Desired
  • 3+ years relevant experience in office, secretarial, or administrative setting.
  • Associate degree in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in stressful situations and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a sense of urgency, be self-motivated, team oriented, collaborator
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Position requires the ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player
  • Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one situations with management, clients and employees.
  • Requires proficiency on PC, with above-average ability in word and excel.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work in an organized manner with limited supervision

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
