Job description

Description:

Help Shape the Future of Modern Mobility

Role Overview

This role sits at the center of Travelpro's transformation—from a trusted legacy brand into a design-led, consumer-obsessed modern mobility company.

The DTC Consumer Experience Partner is directly responsible for optimizing the user interface, visual design, and navigational structure of Travelpro's digital storefronts globally — driving measurable improvements in engagement, product discoverability, and conversion rate. This role owns all front-end site elements including homepage layouts, product detail pages, collection pages, and landing pages, with a relentless focus on reducing friction and increasing the efficiency of the purchase path. AI-native execution is expected: this role uses generative tools and agent workflows to ship faster and test more.

Serving as the primary liaison between Creative, Product, and Marketing teams, this role translates merchandising strategies and campaign priorities into data-informed, conversion-oriented digital experiences. Success is measured by meaningful improvement in bounce rate, conversion rate, and click-through performance across key site paths.

What You’ll Do

Site Experience & Front-End Strategy

  • Lead and implement front-end experience strategy across the site — homepage, navigation, collection pages, landing pages, PDPs, and cart
  • Manage homepage layout and strategy in collaboration with the DTC lead to ensure seasonal and promotional goals are reflected in site content
  • Own collection page layouts, filters, and visual disruptors, using tools like Nosto to support merchandising logic and elevate key categories
  • Develop new landing pages for campaigns, seasonality, and product storytelling, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals
  • Manage and optimize global shopping experiences across Shop App, Facebook Shop, Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop, and emerging surfaces

Product Detail Pages & Content

  • Build and refresh PDPs for new product launches and bundles, integrating video, imagery, and feature callouts that enhance product understanding and conversion
  • Partner with the Creative and Product Marketing teams to align on photography, video, copy, and overall content strategy
  • Manage and maintain the on-site blog in collaboration with SEM and content teams, optimizing copy to improve SEO performance and organic visibility

Testing, Analytics & Optimization

  • Lead A/B and qualitative user testing initiatives to identify friction points and continuously improve site flow, content hierarchy, and design elements
  • Monitor site interaction to guide UX enhancements
  • Stay current on eCommerce trends, technologies, and UX patterns to ensure Travelpro's site remains best-in-class in functionality and design
  • Use LLMs and AI design tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, V0, Cursor) for hypothesis generation, copy variants, template mockups, creative iteration.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Commercial/Planning and DTC leads to translate promotional strategies and product priorities into elevated visual experiences that drive revenue and conversion
  • Work daily with Creative, Merchandising, Retention, and Performance Marketing to ensure cohesive execution across all digital touchpoints

What It Takes (Experience)

  • 5–7 years of experience in UX/UI, digital design, or eCommerce experience design
  • Proven success in site optimization, customer journey mapping, and working cross-functionally in DTC or retail eCommerce environments
  • Strong portfolio of eCommerce page design and UX improvements backed by performance metrics
  • Skilled in Shopify, Figma, heatmaping tools, GA4 and UX testing methodologies
  • Experience using AI-driven merchandising and personalization platforms (and/or Nosto or other personalization/merchandising tools) to enhance collection logic.

Capabilities

  • Strong visual and analytical thinking — able to balance aesthetics, functionality, and conversion goals simultaneously
  • Ability to distill user behavior data into actionable design decisions and advocate for the customer while supporting business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile-first best practices
  • Highly collaborative; works fluidly across Creative, Merchandising, Retention, and Performance Marketing
  • Adaptable and execution-focused in a fast-paced, evolving eCommerce environment
  • AI-fluent" requirement covering daily LLM use, prompt engineering basics, critical evaluation of AI output.

Why This Role Matters

The digital storefront is Travelpro's most visible expression of its brand transformation — and the primary engine of DTC revenue. This role is the architect of that experience, directly influencing whether a visitor becomes a buyer and whether a buyer becomes a loyal customer. By bridging design intuition with conversion data, the DTC Consumer Experience Partner ensures that every site touchpoint works harder for the business. Success here compounds: better experiences drive better metrics, which fund further investment in the brand's evolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, eCommerce, or related field — or equivalent experience
  • UX/UI certifications and Shopify expertise strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms, SEO fundamentals, and analytics tools (GA4 or similar), Klaviyo.

Working Environment

  • Hybrid office environment with hands-on interaction with physical product
