Traveling Construction Superintendent - Projects in the Midwest (Multi-Family Construction)

Position Overview:
As a Construction Superintendent, you'll be responsible for supervising the site and building construction process for our projects in the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise trade contractors and monitor work quality daily.
- Train and mentor project superintendents on field management techniques.
- Ensure job site compliance with all OSHA safety requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with lender representatives, architects, and engineers.
- Coordinate material testing and inspections.
- Assist in preparing and updating the master project schedule.
- Communicate project status and provide a two-to-three-week work forecast.
- Hold weekly safety and project meetings.
- Collaborate with local utility companies for final taps and approvals.
- Lead the creation of as-built drawings and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy.
- Travel up to 50%.

Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel to and from the assigned construction project site on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, based on project needs and schedule requirements.
- Willingness and ability to support project assignments that typically last 2034 months, with the expectation of maintaining a consistent travel cadence throughout the project duration.
- Ability to adjust travel frequency as needed to support construction schedules, critical path activities, inspections, and other project milestones.
- Must be able to travel as required based on project location, business needs, and operational demands.
- Ability to comply with Kittle Property Group travel policies and procedures; travel coordination support is provided through the Travel department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 15 years of experience in multi-family construction supervisory roles.
- Strong language, math, and reasoning skills.
- Familiarity with drawings, specifications, contract terms, and purchase orders.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office and MS Project.
- Understanding of civil, architectural, and structural design; knowledge of MEP design, estimating skills, and local/state building codes.
