Job description

Project Manager
Overview: The Project Managerโ€™s primary responsibility is the overall success of projects assigned to them including but not limited to schedule, finances, quality, client satisfaction, etc. Additionally, the Project Manager shall work in conjunction with the Project Superintendent to ensure successful completion of the project, assist with any issues, delays, etc.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Overall Project Success
  • Project Level Reporting amp; Documentation
  • SPOC with Client and Field
  • Project Level Issue Resolution
  • Oversight of Project Level Bid Process amp; SOV Completion / Submission to Client
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
  • Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress and keep client PMโ€™s informed the entire way.
  • Prepare reports for upper management and other staff regarding project status, upcoming projects or potential new clients.
  • Assist with training Assistant Project Managers and / or other related staff.
  • Provide leadership in initial planning stage by collaborating with clients, architects, engineers or other involved parties
  • Develop detailed description of scope of work, materials, etc. necessary to complete project.
  • Schedule and coordinate projects in logical steps and budgets the time necessary to meet each deadline.
  • Finalize preparation and submission of proposals / SOVโ€™s to Client PjM and regularly communicates with client concerning budget progress and costs.
  • Ensures adherence to budget, project plans, specifications, and all other construction documents and notifies and makes adjustments when and where necessary
  • Ensure safety standards and guidelines are followed on jobsite.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, revisions and additions
  • Prepare contracts with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors and send to appropriate party.
  • Collaborate with Clients, Superintendents, Contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems.
  • Manages and leads action that are necessary due to delays, bad weather or emergencies on project.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with variety of stakeholders.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.
Technical Knowledge, Experience, amp; Skills:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Equivalent Experience
  • 3+ yrs. commercial construction and project management experience; Banking/Health experience desired
  • Ground up Construction experience preferred
  • Advanced understanding of the construction process, including project management, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, and engineering
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents such as blueprints, scopes of work, schedules, specifications, safety manuals etc.
  • Knowledge of contract risk management, as well as client-contract requirements and sub contractor requirements.
  • Experience working with local municipalities, inspectors, utility providers and government officials.
  • Experience Managing a departmental or regional Budget and P amp;L
  • Fundamental knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding and proficient on Bridge Bench, Salesforce, ProCore, PlanGrid, 90io, CE, Autodesk, Microsoft 365, and Project Management software
  • Driver's License
  • Willingness to regularly travel within the region and to our Corporate office
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • First Aid Certification
