Job Duties / General Requirements

The Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing teams of superintendents, field personnel, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality commercial HVAC and plumbing projects while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with upper management to align with Tebarco Mechanical’s strategic goals, driving profitability and operational excellence.

  • Develop proactive solutions to address potential challenges before they impact project success.

  • Analyze bid documents to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures prior to project commencement.

  • Review project drawings and create schedules that align with budgetary and timeline objectives.

  • Collaborate with preconstruction services and operations teams to ensure project milestones and goals are achieved.

  • Evaluate subcontractor scopes to identify risks, omissions, or opportunities for optimization.

  • Foster open communication with project teams, clients, architects, engineers, and general contractors.

  • Monitor project budgets, proactively identifying and addressing potential shortfalls or opportunities to enhance profitability.

  • Ensure accuracy in budget forecasting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Organize and lead coordination meetings, site visits, and client meetings as required.

  • Coordinate with the safety officer to conduct regular job-site safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment.

General Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.
