Location: Huntsville Family Health Center, Huntsville, AL
Schedule: Monday-Tuesday: 8 AM-6 PM; Wednesday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM + Required OT

Pay Range: $16-$20/hr. Based on level of experience

  • Patient Care & Documentation
    • Triage patients and record vital signs
    • Document all care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
    • Complete patient paperwork (prior authorizations, home health, medical supplies, etc.)
  • Clinical Support
    • Assist providers with exams, minor procedures
    • Prepare patients and set up for procedures
    • Administer medications and vaccines (upon competency assessment)
    • Perform waived lab tests, screenings (upon competency assessment)
    • Remove sutures, staples, casts, and splints
  • Coordination & Communication
    • Schedule consultations and imaging appointments
    • Respond to patient messages and manage scheduling
    • Communicate with physician offices, pharmacies, and ancillary healthcare providers
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Reconcile medications and allergies at each visit
    • Support quality management initiatives in EMR
    • Maintain clean, stocked rooms and update inventory
