About the Role

At RADCO, the Leasing Manager plays a key role in driving occupancy, revenue performance, and an exceptional customer experience. This position leads the leasing team, oversees all leasing activities, and supports community marketing initiatives to achieve property performance goals. The Leasing Manager partners closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure a smooth leasing process, accurate documentation, and strong resident relations while upholding company standards and Fair Housing compliance.

What Youโ€™ll Do Project Management & Execution
  • Manage and supervise the leasing team, providing training, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Oversee daily leasing operations including tours, applications, lease approvals, and move-ins.
  • Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Monitor leasing traffic, closing ratios, and leasing performance metrics.
  • Ensure all leasing activities comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of market trends and competitive properties.
  • Build relationships with prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage online listings, advertising campaigns, and social media presence.
  • Review lease agreements and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure units are ready for move-in.
  • Assist with resident retention initiatives and lease renewals.
  • May be required to conduct competitor property visits, market surveys, and local market research as needed to support leasing and operational objectives.
Planning & Budgeting
  • Review financial reports and support the Property Manager with rent and delinquency management.
  • Maximize rental income by minimizing vacancies and collecting outstanding balances.
  • Process rent payments, deposits, and calculate prorations, late fees, and charges.
  • Manage delinquent accounts, returned checks, payment plans, and eviction filings.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and attend court hearings when necessary.
  • Prepare move-out statements, purchase orders, and required reports.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and assist with month-end accounting and weekly delinquency reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams to keep projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project updates.
What You Bring
  • Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, YARDIยฎ, and RealPage.
  • Basic understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and application, familiarity with GAA Lease and Addendums, Fair Housing/ADA regulations and application, OSHA & EPA requirements for property management industry.
  • Four years prior experience in property or leasing management or similar industry.
Additional Requirements
  • High school diploma required, associate or bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and active automobile insurance required.
  • CAMยฎ or ARMยฎ designation preferred; ability to obtain certification within six months of employment if not currently held.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with the ability to obtain additional industry certifications as required.
  • Bi-lingual abilities (written and verbal) may be required based on specific needs of property.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Team members may be required to use their personal vehicle for business-related travel within the local market area, including visits to competitor properties, company locations, or other business purposes. Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy.
