Job description

Traveling Leasing Professional

Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Traveling Leasing Professional to support apartment communities across Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, and occasionally Mississippi. This is not your typical leasing role. We're looking for a sales-driven professional who can step into communities needing additional leasing support, quickly build rapport with prospects, increase occupancy, and help solve leasing challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Travel extensively throughout our portfolio, providing on-site leasing support where it's needed most
  • Assist communities experiencing occupancy challenges, staffing transitions, lease-up activity, or increased leasing demand
  • Conduct apartment tours and convert prospects into residents
  • Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline through phone, email, text, and in-person interactions
  • Execute marketing and outreach initiatives to increase traffic and leasing activity
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the prospect and resident experience
  • Ensure leasing offices, model apartments, and community amenities are tour-ready
  • Support property teams with leasing best practices and sales-focused strategies
  • Maintain accurate prospect and resident information within property management systems

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in apartment leasing and multifamily housing experience
  • Strong closing skills and ability to build relationships quickly
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new communities, markets, and teams quickly
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
  • Comfortable with frequent overnight travel and changing assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Entrata or other property management software is a plus
  • Previous lease-up, floating, or multi-site experience is highly desirable
