American Traveler is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (R) certification for an outpatient imaging assignment.

Details
  • Outpatient imaging center setting performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
  • Expected ratio of two screening mammography exams per hour per technologist
  • 16-week assignment length
  • Weekend shifts required on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Biweekly weekday schedule alternates between Monday/Friday and Tuesday/Friday shifts
  • Friday shifts run from Noon to 9:00 PM while other weekdays run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 or 5:30 PM
  • Weekly hours total approximately 34-35 hours
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating required between units at the primary facility
  • Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
  • ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
  • Valid compact state license required if applicable, must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
  • Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • All time off requests must be submitted upfront during consideration as post-offer requests may not be granted
  • Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50 mile radius of the facility
  • Former employees of this health system may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period and must reside outside a 50 mile radius
  • Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
  • Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with this health system as permanent staff, travel contractor, or per-diem worker
  • May be required to float between sister facilities within the region
