Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details
  • Works in a hospital Med-Surg/Step Down unit environment
  • Patient placement is determined by unit need — traveler may be assigned to either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on skills
  • Night shift: 19:00–07:30
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required
  • Every other holiday (EOH) required
  • Floating required within skill set, including to off-site locations within 40 miles
Requirements
  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
  • ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both
