Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Coos Bay, OR, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS.

Details
  • Emergency Department (ED) setting within an acute care hospital
  • 12-hour varied shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
  • On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active OR RN license required (not required to be active at time of consideration, but candidate must be willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC (certifications do not need to be active at time of consideration, but candidate must be willing to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
  • Up-to-date skills checklist (completed within the past year) required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Applies the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Responsible for patient and family education as well as thorough documentation of care in the medical record
  • Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
  • No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the contract
