Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position that also requires willingness to float to Med/Surg/Tele, with an Iowa or Compact RN license required.

Details
  • Position is based in a Med/Surg unit with cross-coverage expected in the Emergency Department
  • Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • 13-week contract
  • Every third weekend required
  • Every other holiday required
Requirements
  • Active IA or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Current PALS or ENPC certification required for ED assignments
  • ER nursing background and qualifications required
  • Willingness and ability to float between the ED and Med/Surg/Tele units required
  • TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
Additional Information
  • Must be prepared to work in both the Emergency Department and Med/Surg/Tele settings throughout the assignment
  • COVID vaccination card required for consideration
  • References required for consideration
  • License verification via Nursys required
  • Local candidates are accepted for this position in Iowa
