Traveling Merchandiser

Field Force Merchandising is a rapidly growing leader in retail merchandising services, partnering with top brands and retailers nationwide. We ensure products are displayed with precision, shelves are fully stocked, and store layouts meet the highest standards of excellence. We're currently seeking driven, dependable Traveling Merchandisers to join our elite field team. If you thrive on the road, adapt quickly to new environments, and take pride in delivering exceptional in-store execution, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview: As a Traveling Merchandiser, you'll service multiple retail locations—and at times beyond—supporting large-scale resets, merchandising initiatives, and store projects. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with store leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel extensively (80–100%), including overnight and multi-state trips
  • Execute merchandising resets, planogram compliance, and product placement
  • Install fixtures and complete light inventory tasks
  • Capture detailed before-and-after photos of completed work
  • Check and replenish backstock as needed
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies or display issues
  • Communicate professionally with store managers during every visit
  • Submit accurate reports and photos through company mobile apps or systems

Qualifications

  • Previous retail merchandising or reset experience preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret visual instructions and planograms
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule independently
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and reporting tools

Experience in the following is a plus!

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and store layouts.
  • Understanding of fixture placement, store flow, and merchandising standards.
  • Knowledge of retail fixtures, components, and hardware used in store resets.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, assemble, and disassemble retail fixtures.
  • Experience installing gondolas, shelving systems, and retail fixtures.
  • Understanding of store layouts, fixture mapping, and retail space planning.
