Job description

JOB SUMMARY: This is highly skilled logistical work overseeing the planning, directing and coordination of activities surrounding travel logistics and hotel accommodations for a live entertainment circus company; this role ensures smooth transportation, lodging, and movement of performers, crew, management, and support staff across various national (and occasionally international) tour locations; must be exceptionally organized, experienced in crisis management have strong negotiation skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing touring environment; coordinate ground transportation between airports, hotels, venues, and rehearsal spaces; source, negotiate, and secure hotel contracts in each tour city; coordinate rooming lists and special requirements that include family and accessibility needs; assist in developing and manage travel and accommodation budget; negotiating group rates and long-term contracts; serve as primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries; handle cancellations, missed connections, lost luggage, and travel disruptions; maintain emergency contact lists and travel insurance documentation and perform additional duties as needed or at the request of the Supervisor and/or Executive Team.


CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

  • ยทBachelorโ€™s degree with a concentration in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration (or closely related field) preferred.
  • ยทMust have a minimum of (5) or more years work experience in travel coordination, tour management, hospitality, or live entertainment touring. (or a related discipline) OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • ยทExperience with large group travel logistics.
  • ยทInternational travel coordination experience highly preferred.
  • ยทExperience in live entertainment, circus, touring productions, or large-scale events is an asset.
