Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma facility in New Orleans, requiring 2+ years of experience, Epic proficiency, and active LSRT certification.

Details
  • 13-week contract in the Cardiac Cath Lab at a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center in New Orleans, LA
  • Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Rotating weekend call required
  • Rotating holiday coverage required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
  • Active ACLS, BLS, and ARRT-R certifications required
  • Active Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable (temporary LSRT accepted — typically issued within 3–5 days after payment and proof of ARRT)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
  • Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be documented and explained
Additional Information
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
  • Former permanent employees of any LCMC Health facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
  • RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
