Job description

Level 1 Endo/GI Tech (Contract) – New York 14642

  • Pay: $1,087 – $1,231 per week

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

  • Hours: 5 x 8-hour shifts

Position Overview:

  • Support Endoscopy/GI procedures in a clinical setting

  • Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopic equipment

  • Assist with patient care and procedural support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply aseptic techniques during equipment prep and procedures

  • Perform endoscope reprocessing (cleaning, leak testing, high-level disinfection)

  • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment

  • Follow protocols for equipment storage and infection control

  • Assist with patient care tasks (vitals, transport, documentation)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required

  • Travel experience required (at least 1 completed assignment)

  • HLD certification highly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of endoscope reprocessing and infection control
