Job description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel EKG Technician for a travel job in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: EKG Technician

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours

The EKG/ECG Technician operates electrocardiograph equipment to record the electromotive variations in heart muscle actions; assists in the coding, filing, and distribution of EKG data.   Performs as a member of the cardiovascular team, obtaining ECG records of events; assists in emergency situations by initiating and/or assisting in emergency procedures prescribed by facility policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • One (1) year of experience as an EKG Technician preferred
  • Appropriate Licensure or Certification; if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
