Job description

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, Children’s Hospital, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group.  Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. 

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Join our team of 7 vascular surgeons at one of New England’s busiest surgical practices. We provide the full gamut of open and endovascular procedures at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
  • We have state-of-the-art facilities including 4 hybrid imaging rooms.
  • Enjoy a combination of clinical care and academics with a faculty appointment to UMass-Chan Medical School- Baystate. We have a robust general surgery residency and new vascular surgery fellowship.
  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research trials.
  • Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC Vascular Surgery.
  • The compensation range listed below represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.  Pay ranges are based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.  Minimum= $400,000.  Maximum= $650,000.
