Heartland Dental Temporary Dentist Position

Timeframe:

Start Date 6/29

End Date 9/30/26

Days/hours (need 1 doctor who can cover all):

Mondays thru Wednesdays 8a-5p

Thursdays 7a-3p

Huddle 15 minutes before start

*We have additional ongoing temporary doctor needs where the timeframes can vary depending on situation. Typically these positions could range from 3 days to multiple weeks

Pay:

As a Heartland Dental supported locum tenens dentist, we understand you work hard, we offer excellent compensation and will take care of travel and lodging expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Examining patients to determine oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
  • Educating patients on the benefits of proper oral and dental hygiene
  • Assist with leading and supervising office team members

Educational requirements:

  • DMD or DDS degree
  • Ability to obtain current dental licensure in states of practice (we will assist in licensure process)
  • Accepting new, tenured and retired dentists
