Job description

Dialysis Technician (CCHT) – Dialysis Center (Days)

Facility: Santee Health Center – Dialysis Unit
Location: Niobrara, NE
Department: Hemodialysis / Dialysis Center


Contract Details
  • Duration: 13 Weeks

  • Schedule: Variable Days

  • Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00am – 6:00pm)

  • Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed

  • Schedule Pattern: Monday / Wednesday / Friday

  • OT possible but not guaranteed


Pay
  • $38 – $40 per hour

  • Weekly Pay: $1,368 – $1,440/week


Required Credentials
  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required

  • Dialysis technician experience required

  • BLS Certification preferred/required

  • Experience with hemodialysis machines required

  • Patient care experience required

  • Ability to monitor vitals and respond to dialysis complications

  • Strong communication and patient support skills


Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and clean dialysis machines

  • Monitor patients during dialysis treatment

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

  • Educate patients on dialysis process and care

  • Assist nurses and physicians in dialysis care coordination

  • Respond to emergencies in the dialysis unit

  • Maintain treatment records and documentation

  • Support patient training and education materials when needed
