BPO/BPS Practitioner Travel & Transportation

Wipro Technologies-USA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director within our BPS/BPO segment, specifically targeting the Travel & Transportation: Airline operations (reservations, loyalty programs, customer service, cargo). Or, other travel / Logistics / Supply Chain client experience. Retail: Omnichannel retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, and store operations sectors. This pivotal role presents a unique opportunity for the right candidate to engage with global teams and leverage their extensive knowledge and experience in the BPO industry, ideally exceeding 15 years. As a Client Expansion Executive, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and cultivating enduring partnerships with various client teams. Your deep understanding of emerging trends and innovations within the BPO sector will be instrumental as we strive to not only meet but exceed client expectations and drive meaningful success across our operations.

LOCATION: Central or East Coast

Seeking domain-focused practitioners who bring hands-on expertise in operations and solutioning within their respective industries. This role is critical to bringing deep domain knowledge, solution expertise to Client conversations. Act as a BPO subject matter expert for client engagements in Travel & Transportation: Airline operations (reservations, loyalty programs, customer service, cargo). Or, other travel / Logistics / Supply Chain client experience. Retail: Omnichannel retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, and store operations sectors. Multiple sectors an added advantage. Partner with BPS delivery and presales teams to design innovative solutions aligned to client needs. Support pursuit and deal shaping with domain insights and operational best practices. Engage in process optimization and transformation initiatives leveraging industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue new BPO opportunities in Travel & Transportation: Airline operations (reservations, loyalty programs, customer service, cargo). Or, other travel / Logistics / Supply Chain client experience. Retail: Omnichannel retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, and store operations.
  • Partner with BPS delivery and presales teams to design innovative solutions aligned to client needs.
  • Support pursuit and deal shaping with domain insights and operational best practices.
  • Engage in process optimization and transformation initiatives leveraging industry benchmarks.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with diverse client teams to nurture strategic relationships that facilitate growth opportunities and enhance account performance.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the delivery organization, ensuring they are equipped and motivated to achieve client success while proactively identifying and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Assist the delivery team in comprehending client requirements, ensuring that communication and reporting are effectively executed back to client teams.
  • Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through strategic networking, account management, and ongoing relationship development.
  • Engage in thorough data analysis to synthesize insights and present tailored solutions to senior leadership and C-level executives, demonstrating how our services can optimize their operations.

Ideal Experience / Competencies / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of extensive experience in BPO/BPS services, demonstrating a well-rounded track record across various operational areas such as trust and safety, eCommerce, finance and accounting, supply chain, procurement, HR, and contact center operations.
  • Working with expanding BPO services in Travel & Transportation: Airline operations (reservations, loyalty programs, customer service, cargo). Or, other travel / Logistics / Supply Chain client experience. Retail: Omnichannel retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, and store operations.
  • A rich professional network with a proven ability to build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge of outsourced solutions, with a strong ability to navigate and influence senior leaders effectively to drive business initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, with a natural talent for motivating teams to exceed their goals and adapt to changing business landscapes.
  • Strong business acumen, with the capability to strategize effectively and identify opportunities that align with broader business objectives and challenges.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $200,000.00 to $280,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
