Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Attend mandatory orientation during the first week.
- 24-hour contract working 7:00am-7:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Perform X-ray imaging in various settings including OR, Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and portables.
- Willingness to learn and perform imaging for pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Minimum experience required:
- 1 year at a Level 1 trauma center, or
- 2-3 years at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Must be a graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy.
- Utilize EMR systems: EPIC and Sectra.
- Operate equipment from GE, Phillips, and CareStream.
- Assigned to a specific department per shift but must be flexible to float to other areas as needed.
- Work with students at Grady; responsible for performing competency check-offs for students.
- Mask fit test required.
