Stem Psychological Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this remote role, you will provide specialized mental health care to individuals suffering from trauma-related conditions. Our mission is to empower patients on their journey of healing and recovery by delivering high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.

Located in Arlington, Texas, Stem Psychological Center is a community health clinic dedicated to serving those impacted by trauma. Our facility prides itself on fostering a safe and supportive environment for trauma survivors, specializing in treating a range of mental health issues including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As an outpatient clinic, we prioritize compassionate care that helps individuals reclaim their lives and achieve mental wellness.

This full-time position allows you to work remotely while being part of a cohesive team committed to trauma-informed care. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. You will be supported by a network of professionals committed to your success and the well-being of our patients.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify tailored treatment strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address patients' needs.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure patients receive integrated, comprehensive care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support for patients during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for continued support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that focus on advancing trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

Your primary focus will be on individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As you navigate their unique needs, you will play a critical role in their recovery journey by employing evidence-based therapies tailored to help them process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• A calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations is essential.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting, fostering collaboration with colleagues for enhanced patient care.

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with specialized training or certifications in trauma therapy or related fields will hold a distinct advantage. A demonstrated ability to engage patients effectively and a commitment to ongoing professional development in trauma-informed care are highly valued.

Stem Psychological Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
