El Supervisor de Transporte coordina de manera efectiva la flota dedicada maximizando la utilización del conductor y del equipo mientras excede las expectativas del cliente a través de la dirección de las operaciones de despacho y todos los requisitos de informes relacionados al cliente y a la alta gerencia.
Responsabilidades
    Jefe de operaciones
  • Proporciona supervisión diaria al personal, incluidos coordinadores, empleados, observadores y conductores.
  • Gestiona el proceso de programación de conductores y los datos de nómina.
  • Coordina la finalización de la carga y la entrada de datos en TMW.
  • Coordina con los gerentes el proceso de facturación del cliente y concilia la factura y las aprobaciones del transportista común.
  • Garantiza que el equipo se utilice de la manera más eficiente.
  • Coordina el mantenimiento de equipos con gerencia y flota.

Calificaciones
  • Licenciatura en Cadena de Suministro, Negocios o campo relacionado, o al menos 1 a 5 años de experiencia en supervisión.

  • Se prefiere experiencia con TMW y People Net.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de ritmo rápido.
  • Capacidad para manejar prioridades cambiantes y utilizar el buen juicio en situaciones estresantes.
  • Conocimiento práctico de las aplicaciones de Microsoft Office.
  • Conocimiento práctico de transporte/equipos mecánicos.
  • Conocimiento práctico de las regulaciones de OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA y la voluntad de obtener la certificación en una o más de estas áreas según sea necesario.
