What we need

Exol is seeking a Transportation Senior Analyst, Supplier & Retailer Appointment to coordinate pickup and delivery appointments for an assigned DC/POD. This role serves as the primary transportation contact for suppliers, delivery locations, retailer scheduling teams, and related stakeholders to ensure appointment windows support the approved transportation plan and customer commitments.

The Analyst will work in Manhattan TMS, retailer and supplier portals, and related operating systems to request, confirm, maintain, and communicate appointments; resolve scheduling conflicts; and protect shipment flow from pickup readiness through final delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong organization, customer-facing communication, urgency, accuracy, and discipline follow-through.

What you'll do

  • Supplier Pickup Appointment Coordination: Coordinate supplier pickup scheduling and shipment readiness, validate load requirements, and address scheduling risks to support transportation plan execution.

  • Retailer & Delivery Appointment Management: Oversee retailer appointment scheduling, delivery requirements, and compliance with customer-specific receiving processes and constraints.

  • Schedule Alignment & System Accuracy: Align transportation schedules with operational plans, ensure data accuracy in Manhattan TMS, and proactively address appointment and shipment exceptions.

  • Appointment Exceptions & Service Recovery: Resolve and oversee transportation scheduling and delivery exceptions, lead recovery actions, and drive operational improvements through issue resolution and root cause analysis.

  • Performance, Communication & Continuous Improvement: Communicate shipment status and risks, track appointment performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve service reliability.

What we need

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field preferred or equivalent industry experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation scheduling, appointment management, logistics coordination, transportation operations, or customer service.

  • Working knowledge of pickup and delivery appointment processes and time-sensitive transportation execution.

  • Experience using transportation management systems, scheduling platforms, ERP systems, or similar operational tools.

  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other collaboration tools.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting retailer consolidation, cross-dock, multi-stop, inbound, or appointment-driven transportation operations.

  • Experience with Manhattan TMS, retailer scheduling portals, or supplier appointment systems.

  • Familiarity with EDI/API-enabled scheduling workflows, Proof of Delivery requirements, detention drivers, and transportation service metrics.

  • Experience working in high-volume transportation, logistics, 3PL, or retail supply chain environments.

Our Environment

  • Up to25% of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employeeis responsible forowning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $77,000.00 - $105,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
