Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy Location: Illinois Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Position Overview
Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Safe@Home Safety Manager to join our Intact Family Services team. This position plays a critical role in supporting children and families through the development and oversight of in-home safety plans designed to maintain family stability and child safety.
The Safe@Home Safety Manager works closely with families, community providers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective service coordination, crisis response, and ongoing support within a trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage in-home impending danger safety plans for families.
  • Collaborate with Intact Family Services staff, community providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide direct in-home safety services and ongoing family support.
  • Monitor safety plan effectiveness and communicate updates regularly.
  • Arrange and coordinate safety service provider coverage as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and required reports.
  • Attend team meetings, court hearings, trainings, and other assigned functions.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards and professional ethics.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required; MSW preferred.
  • Safe@Home specialty certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience in child welfare, family services, or related human services field preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively in high-stress situations.
