Position overview:
The Routing Analyst is responsible for analyzing NDCP's outbound logistics program to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting customer orders for current and potential future business.
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday: 5 pm to 3 am

Responsibilities
What you will do:
1. Execute daily tactical routing plans for all regions and distribution points.
2. Resolve external and internal customer routing issues.
3. Develop, implement, and monitor management reports that measure the cost-effectiveness of the routing and the utilization of the software.
4. Analyze, present, and measure the financial impact of proposed outbound logistics changes at all divisions.
5. Analyze and implement improvements to internal or external outbound logistics systems and processes.
6. As the business changes with seasonal variations in demand, partner with individual regions to make the necessary adjustments to their routing to continue to maximize efficiency.
7. Collaborate with other departments to integrate outbound logistics with business systems and processes.
Supervision
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
What you bring:
1. Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
2. 3-5 years of related experience within a transportation and logistics environment
3. General knowledge of WMS/TMS software required
4. Experience with Manhattan & Appian preferred
5. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
6. Strong organizational skills
7. Familiarity with SAP preferred
8. Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
9. Detail-oriented
10. Strong written and oral communication skills as well as exceptional customer service
11. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
