Job description

Multi-billion-dollar manufacturing company located on the Northwest side of Richmond Virginia is looking for a Production Materials Panner.


JOB DUTIES

  • Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of coated and laminated films.
  • Follows standard policies and procedures for managing custom ordered raw material inventory levels, for the manufacturing Facility.
  • Works cohesively with Planner, Transportation, Procurement and Quality teams to ensure a constant and accurate flow of material and data accuracy.
  • Assembles production schedules, draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation and to meet shipping dates according to customer orders. Plans sequence of manufacturing operations, to include coating and laminating operations.
  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine capacity.
  • Plans and schedules workflow for each operation, according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Calculate, sequence, dispatch and release orders to SAP, to download to shop floor system.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of same raw material inventory components, used in the manufacturing process and expedite as needed.
  • Maintains master Data in SAP, creates materials and works with SAP key user to maintain SAP planning tables.
