Impact In This Role

The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across strategic accounts within the Factory Automation business. This role develops and executes account strategies, engages cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, purchasing, and leadership), and acts as a consultative partner to customers to optimize product adoption and solve application challenges. The position also generates actionable customer insights to support new product and service development, contributing to market share expansion and long-term business growth.

You will report to the Manager Regional Sales - Central Region

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute account-level strategies to achieve revenue growth targets across key accounts
  • Partner with internal sales teams to track forecasting, pipeline activity, and progress against goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers across engineering, purchasing, and management functions
  • Provide consultative support throughout customer design and purchasing cycles to drive product adoption
  • Deliver professional presentations of products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identify customer barriers, needs, and opportunities; recommend solutions to improve satisfaction and increase revenue
  • Generate and communicate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to sales leadership and product teams
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leadership to support business development initiatives
  • Apply effective sales techniques and continuously refine approach to maximize account performance
  • Maintain accurate reporting of forecasts, opportunity funnel, account activity, and progress updates
Desired Traits
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related area is preferred. ·
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience. Experience in selling mechanical components in automation/assembly equipment is preferred
