What do we need?
We are seeking a highly motivated, eager individual to be an Events Intern on our Hospitality Services team. The Intern supports the team in planning and executing firm meetings, client events, recruiting events, and employee engagement activities. This role offers hands-on experience in event coordination, hospitality operations, and administrative support within a professional services environment. The Intern works closely with the Hospitality Manager, Front Desk team, and other departments to help ensure events and daily hospitality operations run smoothly and professionally. This is a fully in-office internship.
How will you make an impact?
  • Assist with planning and executing meetings, receptions, recruiting events, retreats, and firmwide events, including logistics such as vendor coordination, catering, room setup, signage, and registration.
  • Support venue research, supply procurement, and preparation of event materials (schedules, checklists, nametags).
  • Provide onsite support (setup, guest assistance, breakdown) and maintain event calendars and records.
  • Handle catering orders, invoice processing, restaurant reservations, and vendor recordkeeping.
  • Support inventory management, supply ordering, data entry, and filing.
  • Partner with the Front Desk team to greet and assist visitors, manage registration and wayfinding, and route calls as needed.
  • Help maintain a professional, organized lobby and reception environment.
  • Prepare conference rooms, manage catering/beverage setup, and ensure meeting spaces are ready before and after use.
  • Support Barista Bar operations and other initiatives that enhance the guest and employee experience.
  • Assist with special projects, seasonal programs, and community engagement activities.
  • Support the Office Services & Facilities Manager and perform other duties as assigned.

What will you bring to the role?
  • Currently enrolled in a college/university program, preferably in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, catering, event planning, or administration preferred.
  • Interest in event planning, hospitality, or professional services operations.
  • Prior customer service, hospitality, administrative, or event experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift and transport event materials as needed.

The pay rate for the Events Intern is $18.50 per hour.
