Position OverviewWere looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to help keep our operations running smoothly. In this role, youll coordinate trips, assign drivers, and ensure all transportation services are delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask with ease, and knows how to communicate clearly under pressure.What Youll Do
  • Manage daily trip assignments to ensure all rides are covered and completed on time
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers for airport pickups, medical transportation, and charter services
  • Monitor trip progress and provide real-time updates (arrival, pickup, drop-off, etc.)
  • Communicate with drivers via phone, radio, and messaging systems
  • Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams
  • Input and manage reservations (calls, emails, and system entries)
  • Track vehicle and driver movement to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Review next-day reservations for accuracy (routes, stops, passenger details, special instructions)
  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and urgency
  • Assist with resolving service issues and rerouting as needed
  • Provide drivers with updates on road conditions, delays, or changes
  • Maintain daily dispatch logs and reports
  • Support shift transitions to ensure seamless operations
