Job Summary

The Dispatcher coordinates and manages the scheduling and routing of drivers, deliveries to ensure timely and efficient operations. This role involves communicating with customers, tracking vehicles, maintaining records, and supporting operational logistics to meet company and customer expectations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to incoming service or delivery requests via phone, email, or dispatch software.

• Schedule, assign, and route drivers or service personnel according to workload, geography, and priority.

• Monitor and track the status of routes, deliveries, and service calls to ensure on-time performance.

• Communicate updates and instructions to drivers, technicians, and customers as needed.

• Maintain accurate logs, route sheets, and delivery/service documentation.

• Coordinate with warehouse, parts, or operations teams to ensure availability of inventory or materials.

• Handle emergency requests, last-minute changes, or route adjustments efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Prepare and submit reports on dispatch activities, delays, and performance metrics.
