What Drives Success
Under general supervision, responsible for ensuring products reach their destinations safely, securely, and on time. Manages regional transportation activities and executes carrier selection, freight optimization, compliance initiatives, and cost reduction programs within an assigned region.
Responsibilities
  • Execute carrier and mode selection for Lennox shipments.
  • Manage loss and damage claims.
  • Coordinate Lennox private fleet routing activities.
  • Manage regional freight compliance for all shipping locations within assigned region.
  • Ensure transportation services meet required quality and service standards.
  • Develop and implement processes that improve transportation efficiency and organization.
  • Execute annual transportation cost reduction projects aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Deliver regional freight savings initiatives with annual targets exceeding $100,000.
  • Analyze transportation performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with distribution centers, carriers, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Support transportation audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant transportation or logistics experience.

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $59,000 - $77,700 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Transportation Planner I - $50,000 - $62,000
Transportation Planner II - $59,000 - $77,700
Transportation Planner III - $73,000 - $95,550
What We Are Looking For
Requires an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 2 years relevant experience.
Attention to detail. Strong time management and organization skills. Communication skills and ability to work well with other cross functional teams. Quality management skills. Knowledge of TMS, SAP, Excel systems. Planning skills. Understanding various transportation modes: LTL, Truck Load, Intermodal.
