Job description

Are you exceptionally organized with a keen eye for detail? We are in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with Transportation Safety experience to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing support, contributing to the seamless operations of our Moraine Terminal office.

DUTIES:

  • Support payroll processing tasks such as data entry, timekeeping, and payroll adjustments.
  • Collecting and organizing various types of documentation or tickets relevant to the business operations.
  • Scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with the recruitment process.
  • Maintaining records of employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely transfer of relevant data to the billing department for invoicing or financial reporting.
  • Keep organization of any parts ordering, PO request and maintenance work order.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • Experience in trucking or logistics preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
