Pathmark Transportation is a growing asset logistics provider and brokerage company. We are a $100M privately held family run company has been offering customer transportation and logistics solutions over 30 years.  We service some of the best known brands in the US and have a record of providing outstanding service and solutions.

 Pathmark Transportation is looking for a skilled and dedicated Assistant Facility Manger.  

An Assistant Facility Manager supports the daily operations of a transportation facility, ensuring the efficient movement of commercial deliveries such as Retail Deliveries  and other freight. The role works closely with the facility manager to oversee staff, Coordinate schedules, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure the facility operates  safely and efficiently.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in manager  daily facility operations and transportation activities
  • Supervise, Train and Motivate drivers, Warehouse personnel and facility staff.
  • Coordinate delivery schedule and ensure adequate driver and equipment availability.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and federal, state and local transportation regulation. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and business partners. 
  • Support employee performance through coaching, recognition, corrective action when necessary
  • Participate in strategist planning and improvement  initiatives 
  • Provide operational support and performing other duties as assigned by the facility manager

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, logistics transportation,  or a related field.
  • Experience with dock, warehouse and transportation management.
  • 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics or warehouse industry.
  • TMS Web base knowledge
  • Microsoft, Excel skills
