Transport Fuel Delivery Driver

Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 15 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets.

We have an immediate opening for a Nighttime a CDL Class A with X Endorsement and TWIC card at our Davie location. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a โ€œroll-up your sleeves" attitude.
The responsibilities of the Class A CDL Route Driver position include:

โ€ขOperates a 53โ€™ tractor-trailer truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal

โ€ขPrepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.

โ€ขMakes deliveries of fuel and diesel in accordance with customer needs and company policies.

โ€ขMaintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.

โ€ขMaintains a log of travel in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs.

Job Requirements

The required skills for the Class A CDL Route Driver are:

  • Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker โ€œXโ€ Endorsement
  • TWIC card
  • Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle
  • Able to Lift 100 pounds
  • Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus rotating Saturdays as needed
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Positive and Professional Demeanor
  • Outstanding Safety Record
  • Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations
  • Must be able to meet all DOT/Federal and State Requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles
  • Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle
