Job description

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Wisconsin Transportation Director to their Milwaukee team!


Responsibilities:

  • Business development activities including identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Assist other work discipline practice leads with their business development activities
  • Assist with staffing needs, utilization, hiring, and training
  • Maintain contact with clients to monitor client satisfaction and ensure their requests are met
  • Assist with proposal preparations and project interviews
  • Monitor billings/marketing expenses


Requirements:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • 18+ years of design and project management experience for transportation, structural, stormwater, or general civil projects
  • PE License for State of Wisconsin
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals
  • WisDOT experience preferred


Salary is commensurate with experience.
